in all our imperfections
sharing laughter and tears

your laughter breaks through my masks, undoing all my defenses. 

Poem: a cure for soul sickness

may your heart laugh, with a deep joy that’s contagious. a childlike laughter that is uninhibited and that bursts through the pain and darkness of soul sickness. Just like a small piece of yeast in flower, laughter can spread through a person’s whole being infecting it with joy and wonder.
